  • Lives in your menu bar and tells you, in plain English, which app is making your Mac hot, loud or slow.
  • Asks one yes or no question before closing anything, and only ever quits apps the normal way.
  • Heat and memory at a glance, plus a “last night” line when something kept your Mac awake.
  • Learns what’s normal for each of your apps, and notices one that keeps using more and more memory.
  • Notifications are off until you say yes. When on, at most 3 a day, and none in quiet hours (10 pm to 8 am unless you change them).
  • Checks once a day for a newer version, sending nothing about you or your Mac. You can turn it off in Settings.
